We will satisfy our sous in this perfectly proportioned, intimate mountaintop retreat, with all we desire close to hand. Individual hand-carved fretwork fanlights over the doors let the breeze flow through the 400-foor studio. This soothing sanctuary boasts a small refrigerator, a mini bar with local drinks and snacks, luxurious bath products, and nightly turndown service. We will lounge on the queen-sized bed in our plush terry bathrobes or cuddle up on our balcony while witnessing stunning mountain views to create unforgettable honeymoon memories!

At Strawberry Hill we will be pampered with a stay in the Studio Cottage on our honeymoon. As close to heaven as we want to be, this 480-foot studio cottage is perched high up in the foliage, with epic mountain and Kingston views. Compact, yet with space to pace, think, write, play, isolate, and communicate, our cottage includes an all-purpose kitchenette, a mini bar with local drinks and snacks, plush terry bathrobes, luxurious bath products, nightly turndown service, and a veranda with stunning vistas. We will draw the billowing drapes round our king-size four-poster bed and admire the light through the jalousies and fretwork. Paradise found!

Strawberry Hill promises us in-room dining for a more intimate dining experience. In-room dining features an extensive selection of authentic Jamaican dishes, fresh squeezed juices and delicious cocktails with thoughtfully crafted room service menus from the hotel’s culinary team. We will enjoy ackee and saltfish, Jamaica’s National Dish, and Blue Mountain coffee on our veranda in our plush terry bathrobes. Why leave the comfort and picturesque views of our mountainside room?

Together we will taste all the richness of the island’s multi-cultural heritage in Strawberry Hill Restaurant’s succulent New Jamaican cuisine. On the welcoming wraparound veranda, we will sip on a sublime tropical fruit cocktail or let the gracious New Plantation ambiance of their dining room enhance our experience as we savor a slice of warm bread pudding with a dash of Blackwell’s Rum, and accompany it with a Blue Mountain coffee. We will choose from traditional dishes like lamb curry and fish stew with a local twist, a classic omelet aux fines herbes with just-picked thyme and a fragrant side of callaloo, Jamaica’s sturdy spinach. With these menu selections and more, we will enjoy an unforgettable dining experience at Strawberry Hill’s Restaurant.

This charming bar is the social center of Strawberry Hill and the perfect setting to appreciate their famous tropical mixed drinks, and of course Blackwell’s own super-smooth rum. We will know we are in good company when we see the photos of stars from the Island Records family of artists and friends on their wood-paneled walls. The musical tradition continues around their vintage upright piano, by the light of a rarity in Jamaica, an open stone fireplace for those fresh mountain nights.
