Welcome to our wedding website which will have information regarding the big day as well as other tidbits of information. We are so excited and blessed to celebrate this auspicious occasion with you all!

Get ready to be transported to an evening straight from the pages of The Great Gatsby as you dine and dance the night away under the stars at the historic Waverly Mansion in Marriotsville, MD. 

Ceremony will begin promptly at 6 p.m., we welcome you to begin arriving as early as 5:30 p.m. There will be on-site parking as well as the option of leaving your vehicle overnight should you need alternate transportation home (Uber or taxis) after a night of celebration.

The ceremony will have both traditional as well as non-traditional elements including an ordained Dudeist priest as officiant (watchThe Big Lebowski for reference!). The ceremony will last approximately 20-25 minutes.

Now that the formalities are taken care of, you will be escorted to mingle and enjoy mouth-watering hor d' ouevres while enjoying the Jazz stylings of our live band 39 Mariner. The wedding party will be joining you shortly after final photos are wrapped up. To get your taste buds tingling, here is a sampling of what will be offered:

You will be greeted in style with Champagne and Strawberries as well as Perrier with Lime.

There will also be a full premium open bar to continue to quench your thirst.

In keeping with the Gatsby vibe of the evening, the bride and groom will offer two drink selections from the time period,

the Gin Rickey and Champagne Julep.

There will also be a selection of stationary hor d' ouevres including a fruit,vegetable and cheese display.

In addition, there will be some tempting selections being passed by the wait staff including:

Bruschetta with Roasted Peppers and Mozzarella

Beef Satays with Fiery Indonesian Punjabi Sauce

Coconut Shrimp with Ginger Marmalade

Chicken Satays with a Sweet and Spicy Chili Sauce

Herbed Chicken Skewers offered with a Sweet and Spicy Red Chili Sauce

Once the rumbling in your stomach has settled down, you will be invited to join us in the reception tent where you will be introduced formally to the wedding party (in case you forgot who we are!) and you will be presented with our first dance as a couple. Afterward, we invite you to get in on the action as our band, 39 Mariner, will get the party started. 

After you have worked up a sizable appetite, we will sit down to a formal dinner service.

At the conclusion of dinner, we invite you to get back into the celebration spirit, "a little party never hurt nobody" as 39 Mariner gets back up with their second set of the evening. 

Finally, once your feet are sufficiently numb, we will conclude the evening with the cake-cutting, toasts to the bride and groom, and the bouquet and garter toss.

Although it will be difficult to say good-bye, the bride and groom will depart to a shower of sparklers as the guests bid us and this magical evening farewell.
